Animated illustration created for “Istanbul The Lights” designed by the Contemporary Istanbul Art, Culture and Education Foundation between 7th of December and 3rd of January. By bringing together the motifs from different periods and cultures from Göbeklitepe to the Ottoman Empire, I tried o depict the diversity and cultural history of the lands we live in. Also, I wanted to show our quarantine moods: some found the cure in their plants, some found it in their sun inside.
