Artemis of Ephesus, who was believed to carry sacrificial bull testicles, embodied female strength and empowerment and fiercely protected women and girls from harm. This piece has been created for International Women's Day to embrace her spirit of rebellion and fight against the oppressive systems that seek to control and diminish us in Turkey.
